Written by The Great Society guitarist Darby Slick[3] after realizing his girlfriend had left him, and first performed by that band, which included his then-sister-in-law Grace Slick on vocals, the song made little impact outside of the club circuit in the Bay Area. The song was recorded on December 4, 1965, and released in February 1966 as a single with the B-side another Darby Slick composition titled \"Free Advice\" on the Northbeach label (Northbeach 1001) and received minimal circulation outside of San Francisco.[4] San Francisco in the mid-1960s was the center of free love, but Darby Slick saw a downside to this ethos, as it could lead to jealousy and disconnect. This song champions loyalty and monogamy, as the singer implores us to find that one true love that will nurture us and get us through the tough times.[5] However, the lyrics do not treat love as something that randomly happens to a person, but rather as an action that a person, male or female, may choose to take. This subtle but profound difference in philosophy places this song in opposition to songs that speak of \"falling in love\" as if love is something that happens to a person outside of their conscious intention.
Slick's original performance of the song with The Great Society is more subdued, with the Jefferson Airplane version sounding far more accusatory and menacing on lines such as \"Your mind is so full of red\" and \"Your friends, baby, they treat you like a guest.\"[5] The lyrics are in the second person, with each two-line verse setting a scene of alienation and despair, and the chorus repeating the title of the song, with slight variations such as: \"... / Don't you need somebody to love / Wouldn't you love somebody to love / ...\" Like the album on which it appeared, this song was instrumental in publicizing the existence of the Haight-Ashbury counterculture to the rest of the United States.
In the following scenes, Betty's adult character continuously lets fly with sarcastic remarks, takes no guff from children and adults alike, and lets her various suitors know she's charmed by their attention but not available. A class A gunfighter, she hikes up her skirts and plows into the fray with John Wayne-style resolve. When she falls in love with Cesar Romero, she has to save him--both from winding up on the losing end of a gunfight and from his own confused thinking.

Gloria watches Nikki's body be loaded and driven away and decides to go see her son, Nathan, taking him off his school bus. She discusses Ennis' murder with him, and tells him that the world often does not make sense and that those who love each other have to stick together. Emmit drives out to see his wife, Stella, and weeps at her feet, ultimately reconciling. Five years later, Emmit has pled guilty to tax fraud, only receiving two years probation. Back together with his family, (plus a paralyzed but awake Sy Feltz) he eats a meal with them and offers to get dessert. He smiles wistfully at his fridge, adorned with pictures of friends and family, from which Ray is absent. As he opens the fridge to get dessert, he is shot in the back of the head by Wrench.
The suit claims 17 musical similarities to Copeland's version, including the same title, a scalar 7-chord to start the chorus, the same hook in the chorus, \\\"I...need somebody to love,\\\" and the same repeating underlying \\\"Keystone\\\" beat pattern.

The pair embrace, Grohl switches places, and Hawkins tells the crowd, \"I fuckin' love Dave Grohl, man. I'd be delivering pizzas if it wasn't for Dave Grohl. I'd be managing the drum department at a Guitar Center if it wasn't for Dave Grohl.\"
Hawkins then engages the crowd in some Freddie Mercury-style call and response, before the band play Somebody To Love. It's a little ragged, and Hawkins' voice is a little hoarse, but his love for the song and for what he's doing absolutely shines through. There's a drum solo, backing singer Samantha Sidley does the heavy lifting on Freddie's climactic vocal finale, and everyone comes in for a very big finish. 59ce067264
